About this programme
The UK–Singapore Collaborative R&D Call is jointly administered by Enterprise Singapore and Innovate UK. This programme aims to encourage the development of ready-to-market solutions for products, technology-based services or processes that have strong market potential for Singapore, UK or the international market.
Interested companies from Singapore and UK are invited to submit their joint project proposals in the R&D of innovative products and applications in relevant technological and application areas with a strong market potential.
The 2026 call for proposal is open to joint innovation projects focusing on developing innovative products, technology and application areas within the following domains:

About Innovate UK
Eligibility
R&D projects must minimally comprise at least one business from UK and one business from Singapore, and focus on developing innovative products, technology and application areas in the domains highlighted above.
All Singapore companies must meet all of the following eligibility criteria in order to apply:

For Singapore Companies
To apply, Singapore companies will have to complete the following procedures:
- Visit the Business Grants Portal (BGP).
- Apply for "EDG (Co-Innovation Programme)"
- For assistance on CorpPass, please refer to the guide here.
- Please note that EDG (Co-Innovation Programme) is not the same as the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG). All applications for EDG (CIP) should be submitted through BGP2.0, which is different from the application portal used for ED. Do check the top of your web browser and ensure that you are using the right portal (BGP2.0) before clicking the "Submit" button.
- Complete the application form and submit accordingly. Please ensure you have selected the correct CIP Programme (UK-Singapore Collaborative R&D Call) in your application.
Singapore companies must complete the application along with the following supporting documents via the Business Grant Portal as advised by Enterprise Singapore by 16 December 2026, 18:00 (UTC+8) to be considered for funding:
- Latest ACRA business profile (retrieved within six months from application date);
- Latest and previous two years audited financial statements or official management accounts;
- Relevant key quotations (e.g. equipment & software, materials & consumables, professional services);
- Supplementary Project Proposal form (download here)
- Any Letter of Intents.
